In 2006, Lexicon was awarded the JBoss New Generation Technology Innovation Award for implementing a software solution to simplify the development process and create a robust platform to deploy mission-critical applications for the Texas Institute of Genomic Medicine.











Lexicon was recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Industry” by The Scientist magazine in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. 
















In 2003, Lexicon was awarded Computerworld's 2003 21st Century Achievement Award for visionary use of information technology in medicine.








In 2001, Lexicon’s president and chief executive officer, Arthur T. Sands, M.D., Ph.D., was named the Greater Houston Region Entrepreneur of the Year in Health Sciences/Health Services by the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program.

   





Lexicon was recognized as one of North America's fastest growing technology companies in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 in Texas in the Deloitte & Touche Texas Crescent Technology Fast 50 Program and in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500.  Rankings for both awards are based on the percentage of growth in revenues over a five-year period.

 






Lexicon was recognized as one of Houston’s fastest growing technology companies in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 by the Houston Business Journal.  The Fast Tech 50 Awards are presented to the 50 local high-tech businesses that experienced the greatest percentage of revenue growth in a one year period.
